Workforce
Workforce
Everyone who builds the job, not only the people with a login.
Workforce keeps the people your company sends to site: who they are, what they're certified for, where they're working this week and the hours they put in, connected to the schedule, the allocation board and safety.
Workforce is included in every seat. People on your roster who don't use Jig are free rows, with no seat.
People
Roster
Everyone on your crews: trade, classification, employment type, status, hire date, home office, languages, emergency contact and photo, whether or not they sign in to Jig. Import from a spreadsheet or from QuickBooks Online, and link a person to their Jig user when they get a seat.
Certifications and documents
Each person's certifications with expiry reminders, and their documents in a personnel folder that only the people your company gives the HR role can open. A checklist per employment type shows what's on file; I-9 and W-4 forms stay in your payroll system and are only marked as held.
Onboarding
Checklists by employment type and role (documents, training, equipment issue, policy acknowledgements and a Jig invite when they need a seat), assigned on hire, with progress and sign-offs.
Skills
Trade skills, equipment qualifications and licenses for each person, used to suggest crews and to fill the training matrix.
Crews and dispatch
Crews and dispatch
Build crews with a foreman, members and their usual equipment, then assign them to projects and schedule tasks by day or week on a drag-and-drop board. Each assignment is the same booking the allocation board and the look-ahead show, and each foreman gets the day's crew sheet on their phone.
Conflict warnings
A warning when someone is booked twice, is off that day, or doesn't hold a certification the project requires.
Availability and time off
Availability for each person, time-off requests and approvals, company holidays and blackout dates, and headcount by day against what the look-ahead needs.
Time
Timesheets
Hours per person per day by project, cost code and classification, entered by the foreman or the person, or clocked for the whole crew from the foreman's phone. Foremen submit, project managers approve, and every edit is recorded.
Overtime presets by state: check your state's current rule; a union agreement may change it. Meal-break presets are prompts, not a compliance guarantee. Rest breaks and alternative workweek schedules are not modeled.
Exports
Approved hours export to QuickBooks payroll or a payroll spreadsheet through your existing connection, and certified payroll reads approved hours by classification for prevailing-wage jobs. Jig doesn't run payroll.
Every view of a personnel record is recorded, and your owners and admins can review that record.
