One platform that runs a construction job end to end — schedule, budget, billing, drawings, RFIs, submittals, daily logs, punch, equipment and closeout — and produces the documents the job owes as it goes, rather than as a separate exercise at the end of the month.

Contractors who run jobs, from two people to a hundred — custom and production home builders, remodelers, general contractors, design-build firms, construction managers at risk and specialty trades. A job carries only the modules it needs: a house does not get a certified-payroll tab, and a federally funded fit-out does. Nothing is switched on to make the screen look busy.

No, and it should not. Jig tracks what the work costs and what you are owed — budget, commitments, change orders, applications, draws, retainage. It does not keep your general ledger, cut checks or file your taxes. It exports cleanly so your bookkeeper is reading numbers instead of retyping them.

Not yet. Today an account holds one company and as many projects as you like. Running several companies, or a joint venture where two firms share a job, is being built and is not far off. If that is how you are structured, say so when you request access — it affects where you sit in the queue.

It runs in the phone browser — nothing to install, nothing for a superintendent to keep updated — and the camera is wired into the registers that need evidence. A field seat sees ten tabs, with drawings and daily logs near the top and no money anywhere, so the first screen they open is the one they came for.

Twenty-nine of them: drawings and documents, spreadsheets, plain text, photographs, video and audio. A submittal is read beside the spec section it answers; a photograph is looked at on the punch item it proves. No round trip through anybody's downloads, and no second copy loose on a laptop where the next person cannot find it.

Not yet, and we would rather say so than imply otherwise. Working offline properly means resolving the conflict when two people edited the same job in the same basement, and that is a structural piece of work rather than a checkbox. It is the next major thing being built, and it is being built once.

No API today. Everything comes out — every register, every report, the whole portfolio — so nothing is trapped, but there is no interface for another system to write into Jig yet. It is on the list, behind offline. We would rather ship one honest integration than five that half work.

Per person, per month, with two flat exceptions. The office is Starter at $24.99 a month flat, for up to three people, then Full seat at $49.99 per person once a fourth office person joins — never both at once. The field is a crew pack: your first five field seats are free, then $3.99 a head. A viewer is free and reads only. There are no editions within a seat — if you hold one, you have every feature at that level. Nothing, ever, and only a paid seat holder can issue one. A viewer seat cannot be bought and nobody can create one for themselves: it comes into existence when a full or field seat holder invites that person onto a specific job, it reaches only that job, and it ends when the invitation is withdrawn. There is no cap on how many you invite.

The reasoning is plain. The faster an owner, an architect or an inspector can see the job for themselves, the fewer emails you write — so charging for them would be charging you to do your own chasing.

Not for people. You pay for the people who work in the software, and that price does not move because you won a bigger job. The one exception is the Cost & Billing and Scheduling & CPM add-on modules, which are free on your first project and priced once you run a second — see the next question.

Every office user moves to the $49.99 Full seat — there's no in-between state where some pay Starter pricing and some pay Full. Field crew and Viewer seats aren't affected.

Not for your first project — both are fully functional on one project at no extra cost. The module unlocks using either one across your whole portfolio, once you're running more than one project.

Earned value and CPM scheduling are in every plan, on every project, always. Controls adds forecasting, portfolio roll-up, export, and single sign-on/audit — depth, not access.

Any two modules plus a third separately comes to $629.97/mo. Complete includes all three for $599.99/mo flat — if you're using three modules, Complete is simply cheaper.

While Jig is by invitation, the pilot is the trial. Pilot accounts are not charged while the pilot runs, the prices above take effect when it ends, and requesting access asks you for nothing but the seven fields on the form.

At general sale it becomes a 14-day trial that asks for a card up front. We would rather say that now than surprise you with it later. The card is not charged during the trial; it converts to the monthly price on day 15 unless you cancel, we email you three days before that happens, and cancelling is one click inside the account — not an email to anybody.

A card is asked for because a trial that does not ask for one fills up with accounts nobody intends to keep, and the cost of carrying them lands on the people who do.

No. It is month to month, with no annual commitment, and the price you see is the price. You can raise or lower your seat count as crews come on and off — construction is not a flat headcount and the billing should not pretend it is.

If you would rather pay a year up front, you can, and it takes 15% off — seats and modules alike: $509.90 a year for a Full seat, against $599.88 paid monthly. The field crew pack is free either way. Field seats beyond the fifth are $40.70 a year against $47.88. That is a discount for paying early, not a contract — nothing about it locks you in for longer.

When billing opens, either plan renews automatically until you cancel, because a tool you run a job on should not switch itself off mid-job. We will remind you at least 30 days before an annual renewal, you will cancel with one click inside the account rather than an email to anybody, and a price change only ever applies to the next term — never the one you have already paid for.

The account goes read-only. Nothing is deleted when you stop paying, nothing is held hostage, and you can open every job and export everything for twelve months. After that we may delete it, with notice. Your OSHA logs stay five years and your certified payroll three, because the law says so — and your safety records stay editable that whole time, even on a closed account, because the law requires that log to be kept current and not merely kept. Construction is cyclical; a quiet season should not cost you your record.

A job with a schedule and a budget to bring across is usually running the same day. The long pole is not the software, it is deciding what your divisions are called and who is allowed to see what — and we will sit with you for that rather than leave you in a help center.

Yes. The program comes across in any of three scheduling interchange formats, and sixteen registers load from a spreadsheet — each handing you a template with the right headers first, so mismatched columns are caught before they land rather than after.

During the pilot, yes, and at no charge. Your first job gets brought in with you on the call. It is the best defect-finding we have.

There is no training course, deliberately. A superintendent should be able to open the daily log and understand it without a class; where that is not true, that is our defect, not their gap. We will walk your team through the first cycle and then get out of the way.

Yes, and you can prove it today rather than taking our word for it — the export is in the product, it needs no request and no waiting period, and it produces the whole portfolio in formats other software can read. If it ever stops working we treat that as urgent, because a tool you cannot leave is a tool you cannot trust.

The people you license, and the people they invite. Nobody else — not another customer, not a subcontractor you have not added, and not someone who used to work for you and still has an old link. Access is checked where the data lives rather than where the screen is drawn, which is the difference between a rule and a hope. Security & your data sets out exactly how.

No limit on projects, on how many people you license, or on how long records are kept. Individual files upload to 15 MB each, which covers drawings, scans and site photography; if you are storing something larger than that, tell us what it is, because we would rather fix the limit than have you work around it.

Not yet, and we are not printing badges we have not earned. There is no audit report and no uptime guarantee yet. What does exist is listed plainly in Security & your data, including the things we are deliberately not claiming — and we will walk any of it through with you line by line.

You are talking to the people who wrote it, by email, and usually the same day. There is no tier you can buy to be answered faster and no queue to escalate out of. When that stops being sustainable we will say so before it degrades, rather than after.

Tell us who you are and what you build. A person reads it — not an autoresponder — and replies within the week, usually with a question or two, because a pilot that does not fit the job wastes your time more than ours.
