Jig vs. Contractor Foreman
Comparison
Jig vs. Contractor Foreman
Contractor Foreman is an established, all-in-one platform for small and mid-sized contractors, sold in plans by number of users. Jig covers the core project ground (scheduling, budgets, RFIs, submittals, daily logs, punch) and prices every office seat the same, from the first person.
The published prices
- Jig: $49.99 a month for each office seat. Your first five field seats are free, then $3.99 a head. Viewers are always free. A two-person office runs $99.98 a month.
- Contractor Foreman: the Standard plan (up to 3 users) is $139 a month billed monthly, or $105 a month billed annually, as published by Contractor Foreman (contractorforeman.com/plans, checked 12 October 2026).
Where Jig is different
- One seat price at any size. Every office seat is $49.99, whether the office is one person or fifty.
- Earned value on every project, in every plan: CPI, SPI, CV, SV and EAC, worked out from your schedule and budget.
- A live site map in every seat (JigTAK).
- Field crews start free, with no money anywhere in a field seat.
Where Contractor Foreman has the edge
- A longer track record with small contractors.
- A broad set of modules in a single plan.
If a fixed plan for a small team is the priority, compare the plans side by side. If earned value and a live site picture on every seat are the priority, that's Jig.
