How it connects
One entry, and the rest of the job already knows.
Most software stores what you type. The work is in what happens next, and on a job, the same figure is wanted in five places by Friday. These are the chains Jig runs on your behalf.
One approval, four consequences
Approving it is the last time a person touches that number. Nothing downstream has to be told, so nothing downstream disagrees.
An answer with a price on it
The subject, the amount, the time and the cost line carry across. Six months later the change order still points back at the answer that caused it.
One day, written once
Written on a phone, on site, on the day. Reconstructed eight months later in a conference room, the same facts are worth very little.
An hour, counted once
One entry does the cost side and the billing side. Nobody keys the same timesheet into two systems and finds out in month four that they disagree.
Paid, but not waived
The gap between who was paid and who has signed is the exposure nobody finds until the title company asks. Jig compares the two every time an application is paid.
A machine promised twice
It shows the moment the second booking is made, not on the Monday morning a superintendent drives out to collect something that is already on another site.
Revise and resubmit
A rejected submittal does not quietly close. It reopens, keeps its history, and stays attached to the specification it has to satisfy.
